My name is Chloe Knowles, and I am a creative and curious person who has always been drawn to art, storytelling, and human connection. My experiences in education, sociology, and design have shaped me into someone who values empathy, creativity, and lifelong learning. I love bringing ideas to life and finding meaningful ways to connect with others through thoughtful and engaging design.

I graduated from St. Lawrence University in 2023 with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Education. At St. Lawrence, I also took several art classes, including Studio Art, Drawing, Painting, and Photography. After graduating, I taught fourth grade for a year in New York City. While teaching was an incredibly rewarding experience, I realized I was missing an important part of myself: my ability to create.

Inspired to pursue a more creative path, I earned a Graphic Design certification from Ditch the Degree Design School, an online program created by Graphic Designer Mariah Althoff. Through the program, I developed my skills in Adobe Creative Cloud and gained the foundation to pursue a career in Graphic Design.

Today, I am working in the fashion industry as a Clothing Label, Hangtag, and Packaging Graphic Designer at Ikeddi Enterprises in New York City. This role has allowed me to apply my design skills in a fast-paced, detail-oriented industry while continuing to grow as a designer.

As a Graphic Designer, I can be a sociologist, an educator, and a creative, tying all my passions together into a unique perspective rooted in understanding people and helping them feel a certain way through design.
